The Giant Killer was the studio's first and largest illustration commission. It included a total of 40 full-page illustrations that included character design, world crafting, font design, and page boarders. Unfortunately, a lack of sponsorship support resulted in the sudden cancellation of this project during the distribution phase. Despite this, the Giant Killer offered many invaluable lessons in effective long-distance communication, as well as how to navigate a commission from a large publishing company with several creatives on the team.

Tales of Zander is the studio's first published commission. Since it was a collection of short stories, we developed a title illustration for each tale, and they were uniquely stylized with hidden clues about the lore of Zander. This illustrative project demonstrated our ability to curate fonts, communicate with a younger demographic of clients, and render high levels of detail.

The Tilly Illustrative Collection - a Pilcrow studio original - is a transportive ensemble of floating illustrations, crafted in Adelle Laporte's signature line art style. This collection will take you on a literary journey, following the exploits of three children as they navigate their secret lives in 17th century Venice.
